Corner Increases Mental Health Services to Meet Need
Sunday, January 10, 2016
The numbers are in: Last year we saw a 30% increase in patient visits for mental health care.
With your support we are able to meet the growing need for mental health services by expanding our clinical team. We now have 5 clinical social workers who provide a range of therapy services to young people ages 12 through 25. These services support young people experiencing:
- stress,
- depression,
- anxiety,
- attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD),
- eating disorders, and
- substance use.
In addition to these services, our partnership with the University of Michigan Health System allows us to offer psychiatric care to patients every Wednesday at the Corner. To learn more about our mental heath services, click here.
