You're Invited to Rock the Block on Saturday, September 13th!

We're hosting our fourth annual community block party, Rock the Block, on Saturday, September 13th from 2 – 5 p.m. on Washington Street between Michigan Avenue and Pearl Street. Event activities will include a rock climbing wall, inflatable bungee run, airbrush tattoos, youth performances, a balloon artist, arts & crafts, prizes, and food. This event is free and open to the community (that means you!). Stop into the Corner Health Center (47 N. Huron Street) during the event to get your free event pass.

At Rock the Block you'll also have the chance to connect with services and programs available to you in the downtown area. More than ten organizations will be their to share information about their amazing programs including the Ypsilanti District Library, Ozone House, The B. Side, Michigan Works!, the Ypsilanti Police Department, Dedicated to Make a Change, Mentor2Youth, Washtenaw Health Plan, Destiny and Purpose Community Outreach, and Oxygen Youth.
