The Corner Health Center accepts and appreciates gifts of stocks. When you donate appreciated stock to The Corner Health Center, you may take a charitable contribution tax deduction equal to the fair market value of the stock. If you sell the stock, rather than use it as a charitable contribution, you pay a capital gains tax on its growth in value.
