Gifts to The Corner Health Center can be made many ways – please consider the following:

1.             Make a cash gift in the form of a check, payable to The Corner Health Center.  Please enclose this gift form.  Mail or deliver your gift to:

2.             Make a gift by phone.  Call us at (734) 484-3600, ext. 236.

3.            Make a secure, on line gift by clicking here:.

4.             Make a gift by wire transfer.   For information on how to make a cash transfer by wire, call us at (734) 484-3600, ext. 236, or email jseagraves@cornerhealth.org.

5.             Make a gift in kind.  Gifts in kind are non-monetary items of tangible personal property or other physical assets.  The Corner welcomes items for The Corner Store and The Corner’s Food Pantry, for example.  See our Wish Lists for ideas. 6.             Designate The Corner as the recipient of your United Way donation at your workplace this year.

7.             Make a gift of appreciated stock or property.  It may be possible to avoid capital gains tax, reduce your taxable income, and receive a charitable tax deduction.  Call us at (734) 484-3600 ext. 236 for more information.

8.             Donate your car through a car donation program.  Designate The Corner Health Center as the recipient to receive the proceeds from the sale of your automobile.

9.             Make a bequest to The Corner through your will or revocable living trust.  Many attorneys have their own style for drafting wills and trusts, however, the following statement contains the necessary elements for making a bequest to The Corner Health Center: “I hereby give, devise and bequeath (amount, proportionate share, remainder or specific property) to The Corner Health Center, 47 N. Huron St., Ypsilanti, MI  48197.”

10.         Set up a pledge with periodic pledge payments.  Tell us how much you wish to give and how often, and we'll send pledge reminders to you.  Or, set up your pledge with your credit card and we'll automatically process gift installments for you.  Call us at (734) 484-3600 ext. 237 to set up your pledge.

11.         Have your gift matched.  Your employer or your spouse’s employer may match your contributions to The Corner.  Most of the time it is as easy as sending a form to us with your gift.  Check with your employer’s human resource department .

12.         Honor special people or occasions with your gift.  Celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or holiday with a gift, or ask your friends to do so on your behalf.  We will be happy to send notification of each gift to the celebrant.

13.         Host an event to benefit The Corner Health Center.  A number of individuals and groups (churches, book clubs, youth groups, etc.) have held showers to collect baby items, teen items, cash and food items for The Corner.
