WHAT IS WIC?
WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children Food Program.

You get a WIC card that buys healthy foods such as milk, cheese, eggs, peanut butter, cereal and juice. New to the card are healthy, whole grain breads or tortillas and money to help towards the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables. You also learn about healthy eating.

WHO CAN GET WIC?
Pregnant women, women who have recently had a baby, breastfeeding moms, and children under the age of five. To get WIC you need to meet income guidelines.
