WHAT IS WIC?
WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children Food Program.
You get a WIC card that buys healthy foods such as milk, cheese, eggs, peanut butter, cereal and juice. New to the card are healthy, whole grain breads or tortillas and money to help towards the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables. You also learn about healthy eating.
You can get WIC at The Corner. Call our WIC office at (734) 714-2248.
