If you think you're pregnant, call (734) 484-3600. Make an appointment for a pregnancy test. The visit is confidential. If you have insurance, bring proof of insurance with you.

A pregnancy test is done using a urine sample. Results are ready in a few minutes. Pregnancy tests are free. Most patients also have an office visit. The Corner usually charges $7 for this visit.

If your test is negative and you don’t want to become pregnant, we help you choose a birth control method that is best for you. For more information on birth control click here.

If your test is positive, The Corner can provide your medical care throughout your pregnancy. First you come for an intake appointment with the OB nurse. Plan to be here for about two hours. Visits are two times each month. At 36 weeks your visits are every week.

You can choose to deliver your baby at U of M or St. Joe’s.

The Corner also provides:

  • ultrasounds
  • MIHP (Maternal, Infant Health Program)
  • nutrition education
  • WIC food program
  • counseling
  • childbirth education classes
