To become a client or set up an appointment call (734) 484-3600.

If you are sick, we try to see you the same day you call.
For other appointments you can be seen within 1-2 days if not on the same day.

Call in advance if you need a physical.
They are usually 5 – 7 days after your call. Tell the receptionist if you prefer a male or female clinician. Tell her if you need help getting here. We may be able to help you with transportation.

When you come in the person at the desk welcomes you. She asks to see your insurance information (if you have insurance). She gives you some forms to fill out and sign.

Then a medical assistant calls you from the waiting room, she:

• asks you some questions about why you are here (in private)
• takes your blood pressure and weight
• takes you to an exam room

When the doctor or nurse practitioner comes into the exam room s/he

• talks to you about why you are here
• examines you if needed
• answers your questions
• gives you any prescriptions you need

For most exams you do not need to undress. For a pelvic exam, you undress from the waist down. The medical assistant gives you a paper sheet to cover yourself. 

Every visit is different. Exams depend on what you need. A first visit can last at least 1 hour.
