Need help applying for health insurance? Ready to quit smoking? Want to receive WIC? The Corner is here for you.
At the Corner, we know being well often takes more than a doctor’s visit. That’s why we provide you with additional support to meet your unique and important needs. Our support and education services include:
- Health Insurance Application Assistance
Applying for health insurance can be tricky. If you need help applying, we will take you through that process from beginning to end.
- Patient Assistance Fund
We help young people pay for transportation to and from the Corner and hospital appointments, prescription drugs and emergency medical needs.
- The Corner Makert
The Corner offers non-perishable food items such as cereal, pasta, and canned goods free to all patients. We also have fresh bread, fruits and veggies!
- The Corner Store
Who doesn’t love free stuff? When you come to the Corner for your health care, you earn points that can be reimbursed at the Corner Store. That means you can get gift cards, athletic equipment, jewelry, beauty products, books (and more!) for free. Plain and simple. To learn more about the Corner Store, click here >>
- Support for Pregnant & Parenting Women
We offer lots of support services for women who are pregnant and parenting. We have a WIC office right on sight, a Maternal Infant Health Program, parenting, lamaze and breastfeeding classes and more! - Theatre Troupe Peer Health Education program
Do you like to act? Want to educate your peers about health issues like HIV and substance use? The Corner Theatre Troupe program might be perfect for you! Click here to get more deails and learn how to join.
The SOAR mentoring program is currently seeking mentors and mentees. The program meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 5:30-7:30pm. Click here for more information.
- Youth Leadership Council
The YLC is a social action group for young people who want to improve the health of their community, develop leadership skills, and use art as a tool for education and advocacy. Click here to learn more about the YLC and find information on joining.
