St. Paddy's Day: Green Smoothie Recipe

In honor of St. Patrick's Day Corner staff are learning how to make green smoothies. Find the recipe for our verision of the Shamrock Shake below! For more healthy green recipes, take a look at our "Eating Greens" board on Pinterest!

Shamrock Shake

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1 banana
  • 2 handfulls of a green leafy vegetable (spinach, kale, collard greens, etc.)
  • 3/4 cup frozen fruit (mangos, blueberries, cherries, blackberries, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon honey or vanilla (optional)

Place all of the ingredients in a blender. Mix until smooth. Pour into your favorite cup and enjoy!
